Double-flashback!

Would you believe that there's actually a complete sketch somewhere under that blurry fourth panel?

Sorry about the inordinate wait on this one, I'm going to make an effort to get updates out sooner after this.

Some new fan art, too. David A.D. II sent in what appears to be a thrilling piece of alternate history, and VoN has got his dub on yet again and has knocked out another two fan dubs.

In the time between now and the last comic I downed two novels, one of which was The Snow by Adam Roberts. I'm an enormous fan of his, mostly thanks to his utterly brilliant Gradisil, but I'm sad to say The Snow was a bit of a disappointment. It does on occasion show some of the awesome character moments that made me love Gradisil, but they're buried around an unfortunately bland middle portion that felt like there were sound ideas behind it but never really got a chance to shine through. It's not horrible by any means, and the last few chapters make it worth it, but it's definitely not his best.

Yes, I think you can expect book reviews with each update now.

I have updated the links section with my new favourite comic, rice boy. It is a surreal, vaguely ominous comic about a thousands-years-old prophecy and bizarre creatures and all sorts of fun stuff. It's all very unconventional and hard for me to describe in a few short sentences.
