Interestingly, my cold's coming and going coincided with my picking up and completing George R. R. Martin's A Clash of Kings. Perhaps this book is cursed! Certainly it is now, at any rate. With sneezes. Sorry Stuart!

It's a great series though, this Song of Ice and Fire, which is a relief because I had begun to wonder if it was even physically possible to make a multi-book fantasy series that doesn't suck. It's very political, but without being tedious; the characters are interesting and authentic, and the magic is very understated and often quite creepy. In fact, that's - well, look, this isn't a book review site, just buy it. You heard me!

And now I'm reading some sort of sci-fi business called The Prodigal Sun. Get it? Instead of the o, there's a u. It makes a different word. Obviously I bought the book based entirely on this display of wit. Well, I lie - it also has a character called Box.

Oh, and check out that next comic progress thing underneath this post. It lets you guys know how much work I haven't done on the next update. How can it tell? I don't know, but I'd be willing to bet it has something to do with lasers.
