Well, almost two full months since the last update. Next one in about three weeks, maybe? I'm going overseas during the mid-semester break, so it certainly won't come any earlier. Hopefully earlier than this one, though.

I usually spend way too long typing these news posts - I think mainly because every news post previous is rather long and talks about interesting things that everyone wants to read about like What Books I Read Since The Last Update or perhaps What Immensely Popular Comic That Everyone Already Reads I Can Link To, but maybe those are not such interesting subjects after all. Maybe I've been going about this news post thing all wrong.

Maybe I should go to bed.

Interestingly, that fourth panel there is actually cultivated from a sketch done for July 4th's comic. I scrapped it then because while I was happy with it, it didn't have the right, you know, thing going on. It fit this comic just fine, though. Lazy? Environmentally conscious, more like. I recycle garbage whenever possible.

I don't know what it is with PCD, but I guess it must have done something right because now I've got three pieces of related fan art during its extended downtime. This latest one is by Fraggles.

John - you remember John? - he's introduced me to a webcomic by the name of Dresden Codak. It updates about as infrequently as me, but the art and writing are both excellent. I've no idea what it's about, though, really - science may be involved. Possibly some philosophical nonsense as well. It's a lot of fun, anyway.

I'd say it's clever, but supposedly that has become unfashionable.
